New York Sour Recipe

The New York Sour cocktail offers a complex tapestry of flavours, presenting a creative twist with the inclusion of Gunpowder and Rose Rum. This begins with the rum’s bold richness poured over ice, followed by the sweet clarity of simple syrup. Freshly squeezed lemon juice contributes a citrusy counterpoint, harmonizing with the luxurious frothiness introduced by the egg white. The drink is then shaken to perfection, not a moment over ten seconds, ensuring a delicate balance between all components. A couple of dashes of Sweet Gale and Wild Rose Bitters add the final touch, contributing nuanced botanical whispers to the mix.

The resulting sip is a unique mix of flavours, where bold meets delicate, sweet meets citrus, and every ingredient dances harmoniously on the palate, promising a sophisticated and unforgettable tasting experience.
