Rumhattan Recipe
The “Rumhattan” is a sophisticated twist on the classic Manhattan, inviting the unique Chaga Rum to take center stage. This cocktail begins its journey in a shaker filled with ice, where Chaga Rum and sweet vermouth are introduced to each other. As they’re stirred, not shaken, for 20 seconds, the flavours marry in a cold embrace, ensuring a perfectly chilled experience without dilution compromising the robust flavours. It’s then elegantly strained into a martini glass, maintaining its strong character. The final touch is a couple of dashes of Chaga & Chanterelle Bitters, enhancing the earthy notes of the rum, and a garnish of orange peel, contributing a bright citrus aroma.
This cocktail promises a harmonious balance of sweet, herbal, and slightly bitter flavours with a delightful complexity that entices the palate.
