A Night in Italy: SS 106 Wine Fest with First Choice Cellars
On June 8th, 2024, the SS 106 Taste of Italy event transformed the Bridgeland Riverside Community Association into a vibrant hub of Italian culture, wine, and music.
Hosted by our esteemed customer SS 106 and supported by wholesale wine sellers First Choice Cellars, this event was a dream come true for wine enthusiasts and lovers of Italian culture in Calgary! Attendees were treated to an unforgettable experience that celebrated the diverse wine regions of Italy, complete with an all-inclusive Italian antipasto buffet and live music.
Exploring the Richness of Italian Wine in Calgary
The SS 106 Taste of Italy Event was a consumer-tasting event where ticket holders had the unique opportunity to sample wines from various Italian regions. Guests could choose from three distinct parts of the event:
- Part I from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM
- Part II from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM
- Part III from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Each session offered a curated selection of wines, allowing attendees to explore the rich and varied flavours of Italian wines in Calgary.
Indulging in Italian Delicacies
Each ticket, priced at $68 per person, included access to an all-inclusive Italian antipasto buffet, providing a delightful assortment of Italian delicacies. Guests enjoyed a variety of traditional appetizers, perfectly paired to enhance their wine-tasting experience. The aperitivo bar was a popular spot, offering an array of Italian small bites that complemented the exquisite wines.
An Immersive Italian Experience
With 15 tasting tickets included in the admission price, attendees had ample opportunity to sample a wide range of wines. Extra tasting tickets were also available for purchase, allowing for even more exploration.
The Bridgeland Riverside Community Association provided the perfect backdrop for this lively event. The atmosphere was electric, with the lively tunes of Italian music filling the air. Guests mingled, shared their tasting notes, and enjoyed the festive ambiance that truly brought the essence of Italy to Calgary.
